Head of the Department
The Head represents the Department, chairs the Department Council and the Executive Committee and monitors the execution of their resolutions. As far as research and education activities, the Head taking into account the Vice-directors opinion, proposes the annual research and education plans of the Department and prepares the organization tools to be approved by the Department Council. Moreover, s/he takes care of the daily activities of the Department, of the relationships with the University governance structures, of the budget proposal, of the requests for funding and for administrative and technical human resources. Finally, s/he is in charge of orders and payments for tools, furniture, and materials.
